This 12 string solar combiner box integrates the short-circuit and over-voltage protection that a 1000V DC photovoltaic system needs, which also simplifies wiring between the strings, the DC distribution cabinet, and the inverter:

Twelve string inputs, one output: combines 12 photovoltaic strings into a single DC output.
Complete protection: a 40kA, 2P, 1000VDC surge protector (EKU5-T2-40PV-2M1000) guards against over-voltage, and 24 fuses (15A, 1000VDC) protect against short circuits.
Fused positive and negative: each string is protected by two EKF1-10XPVH-10-1P fuses.
Main switch: EKM7DC-250M/2 (2P, 250A, 1000VDC) for isolating the combined output.
IP65 metal enclosure: 750×560×180mm; the shell material can be customized.
Optional upgrades: anti-reflection (reverse current) diode and monitoring module.

The 12 string solar combiner box is housed in a 750×560×180mm IP65 metal enclosure. In the wiring diagram, strings 1~5 and 6~12 connect through fuse groups on the negative (FU1~5-, FU6~12-) and positive (FU1~5+, FU6~12+) sides. The combined output leaves via the main switch at OUT- and OUT+, and the SPD is grounded to PE.
