Molded Case Circuit Breakers

ETEK Solar Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB) provide heavy-duty overcurrent and short-circuit protection for main distribution boards, motor control centers, industrial switchgear, and high-voltage DC systems. With a robust molded insulating case, high interrupting capacity, and adjustable trip units, they are designed for applications where miniature circuit breakers cannot meet voltage, current, or breaking-capacity requirements.

Our MCCBs are available for both AC and DC networks:

AC MCCB: rated operational voltage up to 1140V AC, for industrial AC distribution, motors, transformers, generators, and mining power networks
DC MCCB: rated operational voltage up to 1500V DC, for solar PV plants, battery energy storage systems (BESS), DC distribution, and EV charging infrastructure

Typical ratings cover 16A to 1600A, with breaking capacities up to 50kA / 85kA. Thermal-magnetic or electronic trip units, adjustable overload settings, and optional accessories (shunt trip, undervoltage release, auxiliary contacts, rotary handles) allow precise matching to the load. DC versions use specialized arc-extinguishing design to interrupt persistent DC arcs safely at high voltage.

Compliant with IEC/EN 60947-2, ETEK Solar MCCBs are a reliable solution for main incoming protection, feeder circuits, large motor loads, PV array output, and ESS DC bus isolation.
