Product Features of MC4 1500V

This MC4 1500V connector is a solar dc connector built for high-voltage PV strings, combining a 1500V DC rating with sealed, flame-retardant housings and low-resistance contacts.

1500V DC rated voltage: tested at 6kV (50Hz, 1 min), suited to high-voltage PV arrays.
30A to 80A current range: five contact sizes (Φ2.5, Φ4, Φ6, Φ10 and Φ16 mm) cover 2.5 mm² to 16 mm² cables.
IP67 when mated, IP2X unmated: sealed against dust and temporary immersion once connected.
Low contact resistance: 5 mΩ on plug connectors, with tin-plated copper alloy (brass) contacts.
Safe, flame-retardant insulation: PC/PPO housing rated UL-94-V0, Safety Class II.
Snap-in locking system: fast, secure mating in the field.
