Product Features of the Automatic Changeover Switch ATS
The EKTS1 automatic changeover switch ATS ensures reliable power for critical applications. It combines an excitation mechanism, microcomputer control, intelligent monitoring, and strong EMC performance, and it operates at 220 V without additional control power.
- PC-class change-over switch: built to IEC 60947-6-1:2021 for dependable source transfer.
- Dual power supply design: power supply A (main) and power supply B (standby), covering utility grid, generator, or battery sources.
- Wide current range: supports AC systems with a rated current of 16 A to 630 A in 32, 125, 250, 400, and 630 A frames.
- Automatic and manual transfer: suited to three-phase systems, with 2P, 3P, and 4P pole options.
- Electromagnetic drive: dual-coil DC pulse operation, with the controller powered directly from the 220 V AC line voltage of the main and standby supplies.
- Fast, controlled transfer: automatic switching time A to B of 900 ms or less, load disconnect time of 100 ms or less, and adjustable return transfer delay (B to A) of 0 to 30 s.
- Voltage protection: undervoltage value 165 V and overvoltage value 270 V.
- Generator start control: one normally open output (3 A / AC 230 V) with immediate start and a 5 s stop delay.
- Isolation indication: switch body with electrical and mechanical lock closing instructions used as the isolation indicators.

Product Structure
The ATSE consists of two major components: the switch body and the controller. The switch body uses an electromagnetic drive with dual-coil DC pulse operation, and the controller draws its working power from the 220 V AC line voltage of the main and standby power supplies, so no separate control power supply is needed.
