Product Features of Dual Power Automatic Transfer Switch
This dual power automatic transfer switch is a PC grade (three-sectional) automatic conversion switchgear that switches between two power supplies when an abnormality occurs on one of them, protecting the reliability and safety of the power supply.
- Three working positions: common (I) switch-in, standby (II) switch-in, and disconnection (0), which also supports fire linkage and infrequent on-off power systems.
- Five controller types (A to E): A basic type, B firefighting type, and C/D/E intelligent types, so the switch can be matched to simple or complex projects.
- Manual and automatic operation: manual rotating wheel plus a manual/automatic toggle switch; remote control is available on the higher-spec controllers.
- Flexible conversion modes: self-throwing self-resetting (default) or self-throwing non-self-resetting for mutual backup between two grids.
- Adjustable protection (Types B to E): under-voltage conversion 165–217V, over-voltage conversion 243–298V, voltage measuring range 4–300V, and under/over-frequency detection at 40–60Hz.
- Adjustable delays: conversion delay and return delay, both continuously adjustable from 0 to 180 s.
- Generator and fire control: one set of relay dry contacts for generator start, plus firefighting forced-setting “0” with one passive contact input and one N.O. passive signal feedback.
- Phase-loss detection: three-phase (A, B, C) detection on advanced controllers; Type A monitors three phases on the common supply and a single phase on the backup supply.
- Clear status indication: LED status display, with an LCD screen option on the intelligent controllers; mechanical position indicator on the switch body.
- Communication and installation options: RS485 communication on Type D/E controllers; integrated type (no display screen) or split type (with display screen).
